They're Here!

As many of you know, I like to treat my feet well. Lately (I'm sure it's due to the long cold winter) my feet have been feeling a little blue. Well, there's nothing better than some good red love for treating blue feet. For a couple of months I've had my eye on a little something red, and today they showed up on my doorstep!!!

An Important Celebration

What a wonderful time of year. The celebration of the resurrection is a reminder to me of the great love Christ has for each of us, and of the sacrifice He made for all of us. As a mom, I got caught up in the Easter egg dying, fun Easter dresses and yummy Easter dinner. I am grateful for a husband who took a minute to tell Katherine what Easter is really about.

Trip to Taliesin

While Mike was away in Arizona playing a little golf with some friends and family, the girls took a day trip to Taliesin. Taliesin was Frank Lloyd Wright's primary home. I admit that I'm not particularly fond of Wright's style, but I now have a greater appreciation of his focus on creating architecture that blends into nature. Katherine and Ellie loved being outside, and Chelsea and I - well I think we enjoyed the scenery more than focusing on all of the history.
