My Mom has always talked about the magic of the number three. Morning sickness starts to decrease after 3 months. Three weeks after giving birth you can start to live your life a little. Babies get easier at month three, and the terrible two's are over at age three. Either my Mom is not as in tune with the Universe as she thinks she is, or she hasn't had the "magical number three" conversation with her grandchildren.
Well - I'm not so sure about the number three:
-Morning sickness, which we all know is all-day sickness, lasts my whole pregnancy
-Ellie used to wake up every 4+ hours. Around three months she regressed to waking an average of every 2 hours.
She got RSV and her schedule never went back to "normal."-Katherine has become "a little stinker" since she turned three. Don't ask what she does, just pray that I won't hide in my room and lock the door!
On a more positive note:
-All babies should come 3 weeks early. Katherine was 4 weeks early, and she was not ready to come out. Ellie was 3 weeks early, and she was mature and ready.
-There is a saying that third time's the charm
-I'm not saying I'll ever attempt to test this theory, but maybe a third pregnancy would be easier for me?
Last, here are some
random facts about the number three in my life
